A growing network of newsletters keeping Cumbrian communities connected
Intro publishes a number of community newsletters which are delivered by email to subscribers in Brampton, Wigton, Dalston and Longtown. Together they have an audience of over 3,000.
Each newsletter contains a mix of local news, what’s on listings and interviews with local people and drops into people’s inboxes every Thursday or Friday.
Intro director Nick Turner said: “The newsletters started as a bit of an experiment and people really seem to like them. The number of subscribers goes up every week and each of the newsletters has its own Facebook page which are updated through the week. They are most active Facebook pages in each community.”
